Summer can be a busy time for all of us, but in Congress, health reform is happening now – so we need to consider how we can implement our Call for ACTTION into the happenings of today. Each of us has different communications vehicles, channels and initiatives through which we communicate important messages about how tobacco cessation can be part of our nation’s reform, and we can start contributing to the conversations by talking about what the Call for ACTTION can do to help.

I encourage all of you to connect with and lean on other National Working Group partners to spread the word about your organization’s initiatives, the National Working Group efforts and the Call for ACTTION. Consider passing this email along to your members or constituents, encourage them join our partnership and sign up on www.acttiontoquit.com to receive this newsletter and become an endorser of the Call for ACTTION.

Action is happening now – so make the Call for ACTTION part of the mix. Please let us know if you would like to become more involved in the Call for ACTTION initiatives, and, as always, we welcome comments, feedback or knowledge that will further the efforts of this partnership.
